Applicable Animals:

Dosage and Administration:

Cattle (including dairy and beef, calves):
1–2 mg ceftiofur per kg body weight per day, by intramuscular (IM) or subcutaneous (SC) injection, once daily for 3-5 days.
Swine (including piglets and sows):
3–5 mg ceftiofur per kg body weight per day, by IM injection, once daily for 3 days.
Horses:
2.2–4.4 mg ceftiofur per kg body weight per day, IM, for 3-5 days.
Sheep and Goats:
1–2 mg ceftiofur per kg body weight per day, IM, for 3-5 days.
Dogs and Cats, Rabbits:
2.2–4.4 mg/kg body weight per day, IM or SC, for up to 5 days.
Exact doses and frequency will vary based on species, animal condition, and local regulations. Shake well before use. Use under direction of a veterinarian.

Indications and Symptoms:

Bacterial infections caused by susceptible strains, including respiratory infections, foot rot, acute metritis, urinary tract infections, and other soft tissue infections.
Precautions:

Do not use in animals with known allergies to cephalosporins or beta-lactam antibiotics.
Use with caution in pregnant or lactating animals.
Observe appropriate withdrawal periods for food-producing animals as per local regulations.

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to ceftiofur or other cephalosporins.
Not for use in animals intended for breeding if safety has not been established.
