Usage and Dosage:
Dosage and regimen should be determined by a licensed veterinarian. The following is a general reference guideline:
Cattle and pigs: 2.5–5 mg/kg body weight by intramuscular injection once daily for 3–5 days. Sheep and goats: 2.5–5 mg/kg body weight by intramuscular injection once daily for 3–5 days. Horses and other livestock: Dosage and regimen as directed by a veterinarian based on weight, age, and disease severity. Indications and Symptoms:
Used to treat infections caused by susceptible bacteria, especially respiratory, digestive, and urinary tract infections, as well as septicemia. Precautions:
Avoid use in animals with known hypersensitivity to fluoroquinolones. Use with caution in growing animals due to potential effects on cartilage development. Do not use for prolonged periods without veterinary supervision. Use with caution in animals with hepatic or renal dysfunction. Contraindications:
Animals with previous allergic reactions to fluoroquinolones. Contraindicated in animals with central nervous system disorders, such as epilepsy. Use in pregnant or lactating animals only when clearly indicated by a veterinarian. Post-medication Care:
