Common Content:
300 mg/ml Florfenicol
Common Volume:
50 ml; 100 ml; 250 ml per bottle
Applicable Animals:
Cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, poultry (chicken, ducks), fish, rabbits, other domestic and farm animals globally.
Dosage and Administration:
Cattle:
20 mg/kg body weight, intramuscular, every 48 hours, for 2 doses
Pigs:
15 mg/kg body weight, intramuscular, daily, for 3 days
Sheep/Goats:
20 mg/kg body weight, intramuscular, as needed based on veterinary advice
Poultry/Fish:
Dosage based on veterinary prescription, often 10-15 mg/kg in feed or water
Indications and Symptoms:
Bacterial respiratory infections
Intestinal infections
Skin infections
Precautions:
Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to florfenicol.
Use with caution in animals with kidney or liver issues.
Follow withdrawal periods for meat and milk as per regulations.
Contraindications:
Not for use in adult breeding cattle or pigs intended for breeding.
Post-medication Care:
Monitor animals for signs of reaction or improvement.
