Please consult your veterinarian for species-specific dosage and administration. The following are general guidelines:
Piglets:
Recommended dose: 100–200 mg elemental iron per piglet, usually administered intramuscularly during the first days of life. The Vitamin B12 content supports erythropoiesis and helps prevent megaloblastic anemia.
Calves, Lambs, Goat Kids:
Dose is usually 100–200 mg elemental iron per animal, adjusted for body weight and iron/vitamin B12 deficiency status.
Other species (e.g., cattle, horses, etc.):
Dosage should be based on animal weight, age, and clinical need for iron and B12 supplementation.
Repeat administration may be needed in cases of persistent anemia or as advised by a veterinarian.
Indications and Symptoms:
Prevention and treatment of iron deficiency anemia and megaloblastic anemia caused by Vitamin B12 deficiency.
Used in periods of rapid growth, poor mother milk quality, parasitic infestations, or when clinical signs such as pallor, lethargy, poor growth, or heightened disease susceptibility are present.
Precautions:
Do not overdose; excess iron or B12 can have toxic effects.
Do not inject intravenously; only intramuscular or subcutaneous injection is recommended.
Use strict aseptic technique to minimize risk of injection site abscess or tissue staining.
Avoid simultaneous administration with other products containing iron or B12 without veterinary supervision.
Contraindications:
