Usage and Dosage:
Dosage and administration should always be determined by a licensed veterinarian according to species, age, infection severity, and purpose. The following is a general reference guideline:
Cattle, Horses: 50–100 mg/kg body weight, intravenous or intramuscular injection once per day, or as advised by the veterinarian.
Pigs, Sheep, Goats: 50–100 mg/kg body weight, intravenous or intramuscular injection once per day, or as advised by the veterinarian.
Other animals: Dosage to be determined by species and specific veterinary recommendation.
Indications and Symptoms:
Treatment of infections caused by susceptible bacteria, particularly respiratory, urinary, and gastrointestinal infections, and for secondary bacterial infections associated with viral diseases.
Precautions:
Adequate hydration should be assured to prevent the risk of crystalluria and potential renal damage.
