Applicable Animals:
Cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, horses, camels, deer, buffalo, alpacas, yaks, and other livestock commonly raised internationally.
Usage and Dosage:
Dosage should always be confirmed by a licensed veterinarian based on species, age, and illness severity. The following is general guidance:
Cattle, Horses: 50–100 mg/kg body weight by slow intravenous injection once daily, or as per veterinary recommendation.
Pigs, Sheep, Goats: 50–100 mg/kg body weight by intravenous or intramuscular injection once daily, or as directed by veterinarian.
Other animals: Use according to professional veterinary advice for appropriate dosage and administration frequency.
Indications and Symptoms:
Used for the treatment of infections caused by susceptible bacteria, such as respiratory, urinary, and gastrointestinal infections, and for control of secondary bacterial infections in viral diseases.
Precautions:
Ensure adequate hydration during use to prevent crystalluria and renal complications
Monitor animals for allergic reactions or sensitivity.
Adjust dosage as required for kidney or liver dysfunction.
Not for long-term continuous use without veterinary supervision.
Contraindications:
Do not use in animals with a known allergy to sulfonamides.
Contraindicated in animals with severe liver or kidney impairment.
